Working with clients in the private, nonprofit, and public sectors, Laurie Sherman helps professionals bring their work to the next level. She does this by working with leaders to identify and strengthen existing professional muscles and develop new ones — to enhance performance, impact, and career satisfaction. The ON BALANCE approach is a mix of head and heart, process and product. So when Laurie's clients are stuck on a particular business challenge, they know they can count on respect, straight talk, empathy, and creative problem-solving — with a focus on results. Laurie is certified in Executive Coaching through BECI at U.C. Berkeley's Haas School of Business, and received a Master's in Management from the Heller School at Brandeis University.

ON BALANCE includes a network of coaches and strategists who partner with Laurie when engagements benefit from two or more consultants. Our network includes leaders trained in various industries; who are white, Black, Latinx and Asian; from many cultures and faiths; and representative of LGBTQ communities.
